CITY OF SARASOTA OPENS AN ON-SITE CLINIC FOR EMPLOYEES

Worksite health center slated to open for city employees on March 14

March 9, 2011 (Ocoee, Fla.) – Crowne Consulting Group, Inc., an employee benefits consulting firm specializing in on-site medical clinics in Florida, announces that the City of Sarasota’s employee health center will open its doors on March 14. The center will service the city’s employees, dependents, and retiree population.
The center will be located at 237 Payne Parkway, Sarasota, adjacent to Payne Park. Services will include primary care, occupational services, pharmacy, disease management, and wellness services. The clinic will also be the first stop for workers’ compensation triage issues.

“Zero copays, free screenings, flu shots, and increased physician face-time are among the benefits,” said Ray Tomlinson, president of Crowne Consulting Group.
The Crowne Consulting Group collaborates with Tennessee-based CareHere, LLC to operate centers throughout Florida. The City of Sarasota’s health and wellness center is among several new health centers within CareHere’s network of clinics spanning 21 states.

As co-administrators of more than 20 CareHere health centers throughout Florida, Crowne has helped CareHere surpass a milestone of 100 centers nationwide with the recent opening of centers in the City of Deland, City of St. Lucie, City of Mount Dora, City of Leesburg, and the School District of Pasco County.
